Market Commentary – 3rd Quarter 2015

The stock market finally experienced its first 10% correction since 2008 amid worries over the pace of growth in China, an anemic recovery in Europe, and questions on how and when a Federal Reserve hike in interest rates would affect markets in the United States.  For the quarter the Dow Industrials dropped 7.6% and the S&P 500 fell 6.9%.  For the year these averages were down 8.63% and 6.7% respectively.   Reflecting these concerns, the 10-year Treasury Notes dipped to 2.06% from 2.33%…
